Slyne Lodge 200 metres walk A very lively Pub & Restaurant serving a wide variety of beers and a very good menu. It has a Beer Garden, a sectioned off are showing sports and often has live entertainment. Children & Dog friendly.
Cross Keys 300 metres walk Part of the Chef & Brewer group they have an extensive menu and choice of drinks.
Hest Bank Hotel 10 minutes walk A very old pub with Beer Garden, right next to the canal. It has a very rich history dating from the 16th century. 'The Hest Bank Hotel' (previously named the Sands Inn), is itself hundreds of years old, and once served as a coaching station for traffic crossing the sands of Morecambe Bay to Grange over Sands. Serves food, a choice of ales and is dog friendly.
Ricky's Cantonese Restaurant 15 minutes walk Really good food, popular and you can generally order to 'take away' (20% discount) although they don't have a delivery service so you need to collect. It's owned & run by Chef Ricky and his wife. Ricky is an enthusiastic Aquariest and they have a large and very colourful fishtank in the reception that's well worth a look.
The Far Pavilion Indian Restaurant 20 minutes walk. A very popular family run restaurant serving authentic Indian cuisine.
Trungs Chinese Restaurant 25 minutes walk
The Royal Bistro Pub with a large Beer Garden 25 minutes walk. Fairly recently refurbished with plenty of space inside & out - and really good food. (no cash - cards only) Dog friendly.
The Crossing is a very small 'pop up' type of Pub on the shore with a wide range of ever changing beers from around the country. It's very dog friendly but doesn't allow children and the only food offered are bags of crisps.
